Poolside is a family owned business serving the greater Lake Country area, including Waukesha, Oconomowoc, Hartland, Brookfield and the surrounding communities. The original company, Mukwonago Pool Supply, was founded by Robert (Bob) Sivak in 1981. Bob was a Washington High School teacher when he opened his Wisconsin swimming pool company over thirty years ago. Poolside began as a summer job where Bob serviced his neighbors’ pool supply needs from shelves in his garage. Over time, his side business began to outgrow the garage and Bob decided it was time to expand. Poolside moved to its current showroom in North Prairie, Wisconsin, and extensively extended the product line and pool and spa services they offered.

Bob’s son, Chris Sivak, learned at an early age what it took to build a successful business. His first paycheck came in 1981 in the form of a mask, snorkel and fins. After graduating UW-Madison and acquiring seven years sales and marketing experience, Chris joined Bob at Poolside. Bob and Chris’ hardworking Midwestern work ethic is the heart and soul of Poolside, LLC.

Poolside’s design and construction in their current location was conceived in the fall of 2004. No matter the size of the showroom or the products offered, Poolside strives to continue to provide the “out-of-the-garage and neighborly” atmosphere while offering exceptional customer service and competitive prices.
