Poolside is a leading retailer of pools, spas and all related products.  The original company, Mukwonago Pool Supply, was founded by Robert (Bob) Sivak in 1981. Bob, a recently retired Washington High school teacher, started his business as a summer job servicing his neighbors' pool supply needs from a shelf or two in his garage.  Overtime, his on-the-side business began to outgrow the garage and Bob decided it was time to expand his showroom to carry more product lines to better serve his growing customer base.

Bob’s hardworking Midwestern work ethic proved to be the heart and soul of MPS and the backbone of the customer service it provided.  Son, Chris Sivak, learned at an early age (8) what it took to build a successful business.  His first paycheck back in 1981 was a mask, snorkel and fins. Now his son Chris, a graduate of UW-Madison with 7 years sales and marketing experience, has joined Bob at Poolside.

Putting their heads together the design and construction of the current business location of Poolside LLC was conceived in the Fall of 2004.  The goal was to keep the “out-of-the-garage/neighborly” atmosphere while continuing to offer exceptional customer service.

Although the business has come a long way from the shelves in the garage, some things will never change.  You'll always be treated like a good neighbor at Poolside -- from the value and the quality, to the service.  And of course we'll always carry your purchases out to the car for you!
